As a mom, you carry it all — the kids, the meals, the house, and the hopes you have for your future. And some days, it feels like the weight of it all might spill over

Hi, I’m Eve Dzene.
I am a first-generation immigrant from Africa and a single mom to two wonderful boys. For over eight years, I’ve been navigating motherhood on my own — balancing the challenges of raising my kids while building a life in a completely new country. Along the way, I pursued and achieved a Bachelor’s degree in Respiratory Therapy, and I now work at a local hospital.
Adjusting to life in the U.S. was not easy. I had to learn a new language, adapt to a new culture, figure out finances, face loneliness and rejection, and even get used to a new climate. My boys also had their own hurdles, from language barriers to adjusting in school. But through resilience, determination, and the support of my local church, we overcame those obstacles together.
I believe if I could overcome these challenges, anyone can. That’s why I created this space for Single Moms
Here you’ll find planners, printables, and uplifting resources designed to bring order to your home, help you set meaningful goals, and even prepare for the unexpected — so you can breathe easier and focus on what matters most: your family and your well-being.
You’re not alone here. I’m walking this journey too — and I’m honored to share tools and encouragement that help make mom life a little simpler, one step at a time.
Thank you for being here 💛 I look forward to walking this journey with you.
